Vermont’s 10-for-10 Campaign

The 10-for-10 Campaign is a part of the Council on Education Opportunities (COE)’s initiative of raising funds to allow TRIO and GEAR UP Alumni to participate in Policy Seminar with little to no financial burden. By donating to this cause, you are platforming Vermont’s most inspiring and deserving Alumni (and their nominators) to advocate for the continued success of our VEOP member programs.

$100 can be straining on the wallet, so there are a couple of options. One, you can set up an ongoing donation to achieve the $100 by June. If you started your on-going donation in December, you would need to contribute $14.30 per month from December to June. You can set that up here https://access.coenet.org/COE/Fundraising/OngoingDonations.aspx.

Another option you have is to ‘Crowd Source’ the funds with you and your staff or other TRIO colleagues as a group. In other words, five people contributing $20 each, four @ $25, two @$50, etc. The only stipulation is that the donation itself can only be in one person’s name (you would have to decide who that would be amongst your group). And just as a reminder, if any one person donates $200, that will NOT count for two of your goals, it will only count as one.

The deadline to reach your 10 for 10 goals is December 15, whether that’s the one-time donation, or set up as a monthly donation, in order for your state President or Representative to receive the waiver. We can do this!! So, let’s get behind them so that they are able to attend Policy, and talk to our state representatives about the importance of TRIO and GEAR UP.
