Policy Seminar is an annual advocacy event that takes place in Washington DC, hosted by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE). This year, Policy Seminar begins on Sunday, March 16th, kicking off an extended itinerary, including a Leadership Summit and Legislative Conference. This year is an especially critical time for us to advocate for continued bipartisan support of all our education opportunity programs. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with our state legislators and speak on their personal experiences on how TRIO or GEAR UP impacted their lives.

The DL:

Selected participants will have transportation, accommodations and registration for Day 1 of Policy Seminar (and their Nominators) sponsored by VEOP. VEOP does not sponsor the proceeding conference and leadership summit.
Nomination applications are open NOW and the deadline to submit is Friday, January 10th by 5:00pm.
